The reuse potential of discarded fishing nets

In spring 2025, a study conducted in collaboration between LAB University of Applied Sciences and the Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association examined the reuse potential of discarded fishing nets. The study was part of the EU Interreg Central Baltic project Re:Fish, which addresses the problem of plastic pollution and ghost fishing in the Central Baltic Sea.
