Support from companies is very important for our work to improve and maintain the well-being of Finnish waterways. Companies can support the Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association with a one-time donation or by engaging in broader collaboration with the Association.

Make a one-time company donation

Your one-time donation can be directed to our general activities or to a specific area (Archipelago Sea, Gulf of Bothnia, Saimaa, Päijänne, Pirkanmaa or Eastern Gulf of Finland). A company donation can also be allocated to maintain or develop a specific Roope service.

Companies can make a one-time donation directly to the Association’s bank account or ask the Association to invoice them for the donation amount.

In honour of your special occasion, support the well-being of our waterways by instructing that gifts can be made as donations to the work of the Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association on behalf of cleaner nature in and around the Finnish archipelago and lakes. You can arrange for an anniversary collection in honour of, for example, a birthday, wedding anniversary or date of retirement.

The anniversary collection can be allocated as you specify to environmental work in a specific waterway.

Facebook fundraising campaign

You can also organise a fundraising campaign for the Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association in Facebook to mark your special day.

With a memorial donation, you can honour a deceased loved one and the values that were important to them. You can ask friends and family to make a donation to the work of the Association on behalf of nature in the archipelago and lake regions in lieu of purchasing flowers.

Do you want to make sure that future generations have the opportunity to enjoy clean waterways and the beautiful nature of the archipelago? A legacy donation is the ideal way to mark a difference and support things that are important to you. It’s a way to ensure that your legacy benefits the very things that matter to you.

How can you support the well-being of Finland’s waterways with a will?

In accordance with your wishes, a legacy donation can be stated in your will and allocated, for example, to our general activities, environmental work in a specific waterway or our environmental education programmes for children and young people. We are happy to help you find a suitable option for your donation.

You can support us in our work for the well-being of the nature in and around our archipelago and lakes by stating in your will a specific amount, a percentage of your estate or even your entire estate to the environmental work of Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association. We are a non-profit organisation, so we do not pay taxes on legacy donations. This means that your donation will go, in its entirety, directly to the area of environmental work you specify.

Brief note about drawing up a will

We cannot draft a will for you, but if you wish, we can advise you as to how your donation might best benefit your area of interest and what form your will should take in order to realise your wishes.

It is not generally difficult to draw up a will, but it must meet the specifications stipulated by law in order to be legally valid. You can draw up a legal will and ask two competent persons to act as witnesses. A close relative or spouse of the individual who draws up the will or a beneficiary cannot serve as a witness. We recommend drawing up your will with the help of a lawyer to ensure that its legal effects are as intended and that it meets the form requirements.

Responsible and reliable donation

Keep the Archipelago Tidy Association is a member of the Finnish Fundraising Association and, as such, is committed to responsible fundraising. We have the necessary money collection permit, which was issued by the National Police Board (RA/2020/327).

Every donation, whether it be small or large, is important in terms of the well-being of Finnish waterways.
